Short Ghost Stories to check out

I have always loved a good ghost story.
The deserted Owl House
 at Kingston  Lacey
Here are some short ones that immediately spring to mind

Fullcircle by John Buchan - a curious and disconcerting piece quite unlike most  traditional ghost stories

Man-size in Marble by E. Nesbit - the main image haunts me still

The Phantom Coach by Amelia B.Edwards - this has a a wonderful use of landscape as a threat

'Oh whistle and I'll come to you, my lad.' by M. R. James - I know - a very obvious choice - but I still delight in its inexplicableness

The Yellow Wallpaper by C.P. Gilman - again untraditional - but has lasted in my imagination
